Trinity Jones is one of those confident, caring, BA heroines you’d love to have on your side. I adored her immediately. Lucas Wright, on the other hand, took a while to warm up to. His arrogance and cheekiness were often a little over the top. Each time he would always follow up with something just endearing enough to win me back.

What was almost a deal breaker? Lucas being the cutthroat attorney for Trinity’s brother-in-law in a contentious divorce from Trinity’s sister. The author asked a lot of her readers creating a hero who wooed the heroine while actively trying to destroy the one person she fiercely protected and loved most. It was a fine line, but Meader pulled it off as I trusted she would.

Illegally Yours was a fun, enjoyable, sometimes emotional story with several great moments. It held my interest–unlike most books these days–which is actually saying a lot. It didn’t “wow” me like most of Meader’s books. Admittedly, that could be blamed on my month’s long book funk that has become extremely frustrating.

Now I’m anxiously awaiting Aubrey and Grant’s story. Since book one I’ve speculated on what caused their marriage to collapse. Whatever the reason, I trust Kate Meader to make it entertaining.

An okay read.
Kate Meader has written another great read. This is a sizzling hot romance that has laugh out loud funny moments that are relatable.
This was a pleasant surprise. First of I applaud authors who may not be black, but are willing to have stories with black female characters that do fall in the pits of stereotypes and prejudices. This was a great book, I laughed so hard at the banter. As someone in the legal field, I am happy that the author did her research, giving the character of Lucas additional credibility. I’ll stop here for now- Fuller review to come
Another knock it out of the park fabulous book from Kate Meader. Lucas and Trinity were perfect together can't wait for the next book.
Following Ms. Meader's last two books of this series, this one tops them in humor, authenticity and maturity.

Ms. Meader's stories are all good, but the character development, the conversations, the interactions were all so natural, so real, it made this a read in one sitting book. Well-done!
the buildup of chemistry between Trinity and Lucas is exciting because once they finally do the deed, it’s explosive.

They both have family baggage to deal with, but it only strengthens their relationship as they seem to lift each other up during the process.

Not being a twin, I’m not sure if they really ‘talk’ to each other the way Lizzie appears to talk to Lucas, so that part of the story is a bit weird, but overall this was a great love story.
I was hooked on this book as soon as I met Lucas. He was everything you want in a book boyfriend. Trinity was the perfect girl for Lucas. They balanced each other out. Lucas and Trinity both had pasts that they needed to work out and move beyond. And of course Lucas’s profession as a lawyer had an impact on Trinity’s life. I loved that Lucas was very proud of Trinity and her job of whiskey sommelier, which is a male oriented profession, and how Trinity realized how lucky she was in that. These two were very hot together and I loved all the teasing Lucas did with Trinity. And she did too!
Loved the glimpses of Max and Charlie and their relationship. I am so looking forward to Grant and Aubrey. There was a lot more insight into them in this book. I am really loving these three lawyers!
